I’ve stayed in a few Sotetsu Fresa Inns before in Tokyo, decided to give the one here in Sapporo a try because of my good past experiences with the brand and the affordable price. I think this could be the best stay i’ve had with them by far! First impressions — lobby was very spacious, ample space for luggage storage, friendly receptionists(can converse in English). Rooms were small as usual and expected, but clean. I absolutely loved how we could track the washing machines statuses from the TV in our room!(whether available or not, how many minutes left till cycle done) i’ve never been able to do that at their other hotels. this was a very convenient feature if you do need to do your laundry. They also provide tons of amenities in the reception. Location wise, i found it very convenient. Just 5-8mins walk to and fro airport bus drop off and pick up. Convenience stores just round the corner, many restaurants open till late night, close to the main shopping area, also located right next to a subway exit! I would definitely recommend this hotel if coming to visit Sapporo!!

The manager Mr Hanuzawa is superb. Japanese hotels are very rigid-can’t check in before 3pm. We arrived 11am after a long overnight flight. We paid 1000yen for every hour if we check in before 3pm. That was great cos we’re in our 50’s. He speaks good English and is very helpful. All toiletries are collected at the lobby. Besides the usual toothbrush etc, we can have free bath salts for soaking in the bath tub, face masks, things other hotels don’t provide. I’ll call it 5 star hotel at 3 star prices. If you take the airport bus (number 84) the bus doesn’t stop right outside the hotel. It’s on a road to the left off the main road. My husband got lost after 10 minutes. We hailed a taxi and it costs only 700 yen I would advise that especially lugging 4 luggage bags-2 small and 2 medium. Staff are all very polite. The metro station is right outside the hotel. Easy to go sight seeing with that. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. There are no wardrobes as such in the rooms. Just an open area for hanging your clothes. That didn’t bother us though. We were ok with that

The breakfast offered great value for money, and one of the most attractive features of this hotel is their connecting rooms, which are marvelous for families. Additionally, they have a luggage storage system that allows you to temporarily store your luggage while you travel to another city for a few nights before returning to stay in the hotel again. Location wise, it is just about 5 minutes walk from the famous Tanukikoji street. Hence, it is relatively quiet for a good night sleep! For the cafeteria, they offer discounted prices for beer until 21:30 daily, as well as a proper meal if you are looking to turn in early for the night. Kudos to the hotel staffs at the counter that always do their best to provide us the services possible!

The Hotel is located in a very central position, in the lively Susukino district. Exit 4 of the Toho metro line is located immediately at the hotel entrance and the tram and bus stops are also very close, allowing you to really get anywhere from the hotel. The rooms are very cozy and each customer has many amenities available in the lobby, from face masks, to hair products, to straighteners and electric brushes. The staff is very welcoming, always available to respond to any question you may have. The breakfast is very rich and varied, with typical Japanese and continental foods, and is served by very welcoming and kind staff. I absouletely recomend this hotel in Sapporo!
